CCTV has officially signed an agreement with FIFA to obtain exclusive broadcast rights for the 2026 World Cup in mainland China.
The 2026 World Cup will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, featuring 104 matches across 16 cities.

CCTV will air all 104 matches across CCTV5, CCTV5+, and the Yangshipin app. The network will send a team of commentators to North America for on-site coverage.
